Nissee is the second and last moon of Neidon and is the Nereid analog to the game. It orbits Neidon in a highly inclined and eccentric orbit and is very difficult to get to, especially from its retrograde-orbiting, oppositely inclined neighbour, Thatmo

In-Game Description[]

A small moon in a highly inclined and eccentric orbit around Neidon. Its surface looks strangely similar to marble. As a result it has become the envy of every sculptor on Kerbin.

Kerbal Astronomical Society

Composition[]

Nissee has an unusually high density so far out in the Kerbol system, where most bodies contain large proportions of ice, instead being comparable to inner bodies like Kerbin.. As such, Nissee is likely comprised of mostly rock, though a significant metallic core is unlikely given its location in the outer regions of the system.

Surface[]

Nissee's surface has colours ranging from beige in the uplands to white in the lower regions. Most of Nissee's large craters are concentrated around the huge Maximus Crater, but much of the rest of the surface is a rough series of ridges and valleys peppered by numerous small craters like the Mun. The low gravity and challenging terrain make roving slow and hazardous, though the gravity (marginally lower than Minmus') somewhat mitigates the difficulties of landing on the body.

Biomes[]

Nissee has a total of six biomes.
