Heba is a gas giant and the first planet of the Valentine system in the planet pack Extrasolar. It only has one moon called Serex.

Stationary orbit around Heba is not possible — it would require an altitude of 212 869.55 km, outside of Heba's sphere of influence.

In-Game Description[]

Heba is the largest planet in the Valentine system. It was the first planet to be discovered in this system. Due to Heba's massive size, it is sometimes visible from the surface of the neighboring planet Solyth.

Atmosphere[]

Heba has a dense atmosphere with a datum level pressure of about 10 atmospheres and a depth of 250 000 meters. Compared to the atmosphere of Kerbin, Heba's atmosphere has 10 times the surface pressure, and 3,5 times the depth. At an altitude of around 77 000 meters on Heba, the atmospheric pressure is the same as at sea level on Kerbin (1 atm).

Like all other atmospheres in the game, Heba's atmosphere fades exponentially as altitude increases. The scale height varies with altitude. The pressure-altitude profile is globally constant and independent of temperature. The following table gives the atmospheric pressure at various altitudes above the datum level.

Natural Satellites[]

Heba has only one natural satellite:

  • Serex, a lava moon which was molten when it had an atmosphere.

Synchronous Orbit around Serex is impossible, as it lies outside the Sphere of Influence of the moon, as is common with tidally locked bodies.

Biomes[]

Heba has a total of 5 (atmosphere and space-only) biomes.
